Hello – Doug here, welcome to TV through PC – If you have found your way here, chances are you are looking for a way to watch tv on your pc. I have put this site together to share with you what I know about the satellite tv software that I use to watch tv on my pc.

After researching several different watch tv through computer programs, I chose this particular tv computer software for a few different reasons. Most of the satellite tv through pc programs offer anywhere from 2500-3500 channels, This one offers 4500 channels that update themselves daily. Some of the other things that attracted me to this tv for your pc software over other providers were; they offer a pc through tv section that shows you how to connect your tv to your pc so you can watch free computer tv right on your own tv, they offer a software based DVR recorder that allows you to record your favorite channels, they offer you some other free software that they don’t even advertise (they truely try to overdeliver here). And, last but by no means least they offer a money back guarantee, with a history of lots of sales and very few refunds. I couldn’t find any other providers that offer all of this.
If you would like the short version of my review it goes like this – Were there some things I didn’t like? – Yes, but nothing that makes me sorry I bought this software. Am I going to give up my cable tv and always watch tv through my computer? – Nope, I’m an old man set in my ways, I will however say that this is a great way for people that cant afford cable to be able to watch tv over the internet, a way to watch some very cool and obscure channels that I would never get on cable tv as well some that I would, and a good way to watch tv anywhere I have an internet connection but no tv connection. Am I happy I bought this software? – Yes, I’m having fun exploring all of these channels and I won’t be asking for a refund. Before we go much further into my review, if you haven’t

Welcome back – now that you have a better understanding of what I’m talking about lets take a look at what I found. When I first downloaded this program things went smoothly, I will say that when you download this tv software there is an option to install several different media players like quick time, divx and others. Even though it was slightly confusing to have several programs installing at the same time it wasn’t hard to figure out. I do suggest you install these players because the different tv through pc providers broadcast their content on several different types of players. When I first tried to watch tv over the internet I was very dissapointed, about 75% of the channels I tried to watch didn’t work, I almost gave up all together. After writting to the company’s support department I figured out that my problem was because I have a 64 bit operating system and my flash player was not compatible with many of the computer tv channels. If you have
the same problem you can download a free 64 bit flash player at adobelabs.com, that is what solved my problem. Now I can watch tv on my laptop without missing alot of the satellite tv stations. As far as the DVR recorder goes, I have not yet tried that out so I’m affraid I won’t be able to tell you much about it. What I can tell you is that even though it is advertised as a free DVR recorder the fine print at the bottom of the front page says that it is a free trial, so if you choose to use The DVR recorder I would suggest that you read the rest of the fine print. If you would like to go beyond watching tv through pc there is a section of the members page with a video that will teach you how to hook your computer to your tv so you can watch computer tv on your tv. Ok, let’s move on to the channels.
4500 channels is ALOT of channels to surf through and If I’m going to be honest with you there are still some that don’t work, I think this is because the people that post these
satellite television channels don’t always maintain them, or perhaps move them to different places, or any number of other possibilities. There are alot of great channels, however, much like cable tv, many of these tv on the internet channels are of no interest to me, that’s not to say they would be of no interest to you, one persons trash is another persons treasure. I have also found some very cool internet tv channels. My girlfriend was thrilled that I was able to watch some good old boys driving their mud trucks through the back woods of who knows where and a 24/7 poker channel,
